On March 10, 2026, Candice François, co-founder of Igonogo, received the Businesswoman Award at the Crédit Mutuel Women in AI Awards, held as part of the West Data Festival.
A significant recognition for the journey and the vision championed by Igonogo since its inception: using technology to better understand humans.

The West Data Festival: a leading event focused on data and AI
Launched in 2019 by Laval Mayenne Technopole, the West Data Festival annually brings together professionals, businesses, experts, and innovation stakeholders around key topics related to data and artificial intelligence.
Conferences, workshops, demonstrations, feedback sessions, and networking opportunities shape this event, which has become a highlight for understanding the concrete applications of AI and discussing its developments.
In 2026, the festival brought together 2,300 participants, over 120 speakers, and 60 partners in Laval, featuring over 110 conferences, workshops, and demonstrations.
Highlighting Women Who Are Advancing AI
For the second consecutive year, the West Data Festival hosted the Crédit Mutuel Women in AI Awards, with the aim of highlighting women who contribute to the development of artificial intelligence, whether in research, business, or through emerging career paths.
Three laureates were honored at this edition, including Candice François for the Businesswoman Award.
Through this initiative, the festival underscores the importance of diversity in tech professions and the need to involve more women in building tomorrow's artificial intelligence solutions.
Reliable Human Data: A Key Issue in the Age of AI
This recognition also provided an opportunity to speak on a central topic. Indeed, in the age of data and artificial intelligence, the quality of human data becomes an even more critical issue.
Algorithms can process quickly, learn, and detect complex signals; however, their value primarily depends on the quality of the data they rely on. When data is biased or poorly qualified, the analyses produced can also become unreliable.
This is the challenge that Igonogo works on daily.
Recognition for Candice and the entire igoteam
This award acknowledges the role of Candice François, who champions Igonogo's vision within the ecosystem, as well as the expertise of the entire team that builds the solution daily.
Data scientists, PhD holders in neuroscience and cognitive sciences, research scientists, product experts, and field teams collectively contribute to developing technology based on a shared conviction: better understanding humans to make better decisions.
We extend our sincere thanks to the West Data Festival, Crédit Mutuel, and the jury members for this honor.
New perspectives are opening up for us, while maintaining our commitment to helping businesses in their decision-making.
